OTHER WORLDS WARHAMMER COMBINED LEAGUE!
Anyone can enter the Other Worlds Warhammer Fantasy/40K Combined League! This league allows you to play Warhammer Fantasy Battles OR Warhammer 40,000 and earn victory League-points in one-on-one or team play against other League players. Rise from 1st Level (Apprentice - Warrior) to as high as 12th Level (Grand Emperator, 1001+ points!) Each win is worth 5 League points, each draw is worth 3 and each loss is worth one. That’s right, you get League points even if you lose! Beat someone of higher level than you and earn even more points! As you go up in Levels, you earn prizes (such as paints, White Dwarf magazine's or Store Credit) - just for playing!
Minimum size for a battle is 500 build-points. You are not restricted to any specific army size beyond that, but larger armies will gain Bonus League Points. You can gain 3 Bonus League Points for every 500 build-pts over 1,000 that make up your army build list (rounding down).
There are many other ways of earning Bonus League Points as well, such as:
+5 Destroy half of opponents army-points in Turn One
+5 Infantry-only victory
+5 Victory by Total Annihilation
+3 For each opponents HQ or Hero taken out of the game by your direct action
+3 Field a fully painted army

League Battles can played any time while the shop is open and the tables are available, any day of the week. League Battles are one-game only! Players can play as many battles as they desire against the same opponent. Team battles award 3points to each player on the winning team, 2 pts for a Draw and 1point for each player on the losing team.
As of yet there is NO ENTRY FEE for the Warhammer League!

NEW! OTHER WORLDS 2010 SUMMER MAGIC LEAGUE!
Beginning July 1, and continuing throughout the Summer, anyone can enter our new 2010 Summer Magic League! This league allows you to earn victory points in one-on-one play against other League players. Rise from 1st level (Apprentice Planeswalker, zero to 25 points) to as high as 14th level (Archmage, 501+ points!) Each win is worth 5 points. Beat someone of higher level than you and earn even more points! Each time you gain a level you get one foil promo card.
Play for FAME! Each player to get to Archmage status receives a higher value foil card, a play mat, a 20-sided die, store recognition and gets mentioned on our website!
Cost to enter is your purchase of either 6 Magic booster packs or one Magic preconstructed deck, but you can use any decks that you own to play in the League. All games are Standard, Legacy, and/or EDH-legal cards (including any special "house" rules). You must play the same format deck as your opponent. More details about the League, earning bonus points and a breakdown of levels and other rules are available at the store. Prizes are subject to change according to enrollment.
NEW SUMMER EVENTS!
PIZZA AND PAINTING!
The next scheduled Pizza & Painting session will be Saturday, August 7th.
This event is for Warhammer, Warmachine, D&D figures, Malifaux, terrain building, etc. Bring your models AND your paints and brushes. Join us for an afternoon of models/miniature's painting with tips from veteran painters when available. Pizza from our local Papa Johns is FREE for painters only!
CHESS NIGHT!
The next scheduled Chess Night will be August 21.
Join us for a new weekly event this Summer. Each Saturday night we will have a few tables set aside for chess matches. Some instruction will be available from local chess league coaches. Prizes to come. All ages welcome!
LEGACY Magic is back!
The next scheduled Legacy tournament will be Saturday, August 14th.
Sanctioned, with Store credit prizes and foil cards for participating. This will continue all Summer! 1 - 4pm. $5 entry!
- Friday Night Magic Join us as we continue the celebration of Mthe release of M2011 with a triple-M2011 booster draft! Prizes and FNM cards for top finishers! Entry is $15. We will also award four additional FNM cards if we get 20 or more players!

MAGIC: Elder Dragon Highlander
This format continues to be popular. Join in the fun of playing an epic 100-card deck! This multi-player event now runs every Sunday from 12:30 to 6pm.
